I’m hoping to feel this happy when I check my mail in a few days!! I just called U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or better known as USCIS and spoke with my officer!! Yes, we’ve been assigned a case officer!! That is good news! Officer Jones told me our I800a was sitting on her desk! Better news!! She said that she should be able to approve it today!! The best news!!! If it gets approved today maybe it will be in the mail and we can get it this week!! That means we could be DTC (Dossier to China) before Christmas! Our agency has our Dossier in hand, they are just waiting for this approval.
This is the item we’ve been waiting 75 days for!! Ugh..that sounds like a lifetime!! I realize it isn’t, but just cut me some slack! 🙂
